The tree of Africa

The acacia tree speaks of Africa which is at our core. It is also our symbol for growing...the seed for Borg Family Wines was sown long ago and has been germinating in Jeremys head for many, many years. It has been gathering knowledge, experience and ideas to form the twigs and branches in order to grow a solid sustainable tree with deeply seated roots.

Little did anyone know how important an influence the services of Mr Dias would be in years to come. Growing up in a remote part of Africa, Jeremys family were fortunate to cross paths with Mr Dias, a goanese trader who occasionally imported small parcels of fine wine. And so, Jeremy sampled his first chateau neuf du pape.

His first bottle of great wine was opened by an eccentric architect and family friend.
